3″ RADIAL SKIVE BRUSH
For quick removal of rubber during buzzouts. Used to remove and texturize rubber around steel cables. When used properly in place of a tungsten carbide rasp for skiving, it will remove damaged steel cables while not harming good cables. Plastic encapsulation extends the life of the brush by preventing excessive spreading of the wires. Use with S1046D dual arbor to periodically change the direction of rotation and extend the life of the brush.

Buzzout wheels have a fully-rounded profile, and are free cutting and long lasting. Buzzout wheels are excellent for bias tyres, and used for skiving on high-tread radial tyres. Not recommended for contact with steel cord. 3/8″, 9.5mm width, 230 – Medium coating.
